[Hikaru nods at the assessment. She couldn't think of any other way to explain it - how her magic reacted to her heart, her needs. It was difficult to explain without experiencing it oneself.]
Exactly. It was just how that magic works, and still does. [Even without a Pillar. Without any guidance from someone maintaining the peace of that world... Her expression dims a bit as she thinks about it before refocusing on what's in front of her. This place, this possible test is what she needs to focus on. Helping people here.]
That's some-- I don't know a lot about magic, but that's really high class magic. That's reacting to the space around you and making calculations to keep you safe. I don't know any spell or device like it where I'm from.
[ And that's so cool. He wishes he knew if there were any examples of such back in Spyre, but it's a useless fancy--he couldn't go to a library or look it up.
But while Gorgug says that, he does notice, if belatedly, the expression that Hikaru's making. Was she making that face before? ]
Are you feeling okay?
[ Is she cold? ... she doesn't seem like she's cold. ]
[She doesn't seem like she's cold, no. She seems to be giving off a faint warmth even. But her expression blanks at him asking, and she smiles up at him after a moment of thought.]
I'm all right! I was just thinking... Except for stories I've heard, that magic is the only kind of magic I've seen or used. So I wonder what it's like for other kinds of magic.
[Clef had been clear: Each element chose you. The spirits of those elements had their own thoughts and choices. Is that the same for other magic in other universes?]
There's different kinds of magic, [ he assures, or-- was, maybe he's trying to do that? ] I don't know a lot about the other kinds, but, I bet there's magic that does the same yours does. And that's pretty cool.
[ Really, really cool! She should be proud!
Fortunately though, Gorgug's workshop -- or the large dome that surrounds it -- is coming into view. ]
I'd like to make something that does that. React on instinct. That would be--it'd be awesome.
I'm not sure how it works really, but I'm sure you can figure it out! I'll let you see what mine does so you can um... Take notes? [That's how that works right? She's sure that's what Fuu would suggest.
Hikaru sees the workshop coming into view, and it's clear that she's awed by it. She's only seen Presea's workshop which was just her house and weapons storage, never anything like this.]

Amazing... This is all yours?
